We welcome donations of sheets, quilt covers, general bedding and towels.

We can also use clothes, shoes, belts and bags for re-use.

DONATING FURNITURE, ELECTRICAL AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS.

Do you have any unwanted items that are in good condition?
If so we may be able to help you and help our clients as well.

We offer a free collection service for most domestic items, and will be pleased to collect anything that helps to make a house into a home, from furniture, and electrical items to carpets and curtains, crockery and cutlery.

GIFT AID YOUR DONATED ITEMS

Gift Aid allows Dorset Reclaim to claim from the Inland Revenue the basic rate of income tax on a donation made by tax paying donors. For example, if you give us a sofa which raises £20, we can claim £5 from HMRC (the Inland Revenue), making your donation go even further, at no cost to you.
We charge our clients very low prices, enough only to cover our running costs, such as rent, utility bills and the growing cost of keeping our vehicles on the road. Claiming money back from the tax you have already paid will help keep us going and allow us to keep our charges down.
To be able to help us, you must be a UK tax payer, whether it’s paid on your earnings, a pension, or even savings, such as a building society account or tax on share dividends. So if you work part time or full time, or have a few savings, you can make use of gift aid.

By signing a gift aid declaration you can help us make an even bigger difference . If you want any further information about gift aid, or about Dorset Reclaim generally, please call us on 01202 773384

WHAT CAN WE TAKE?

Here's a list on a seperate page

We are always very busy, so to ensure we can collect your donation at a time to suit you, please give us as much notice as you can.

We have to comply with Trading Standards regulations, and we may not be able to take sofas and chairs that were made before 1988, for example. It is always best to contact us and ask whether we can help, if you are in doubt.

In some rare instances, the donations do not always suit the requirements of the people that we help. In these circumstances, we reserve the right to dispose of the donations in an appropriate manner.

If this occurs, any proceeds generated by the disposal will be used to to make a contribution to the running expenses of Dorset Reclaim.
